The work «Dry/Wither» was created as part of the chamber light festival «Undarkfestival» in the city of Yekaterinburg.
The full title of the work is «I will dry for you». This work is a kind of declaration of love for the city of Yekaterinburg. When the artist was little, her grandmother dried things on the balcony, and since it is very cold in Yekaterinburg in winter, things froze and turned into ice sculptures. The work uses flexible neon and things are taken from the artist's children's wardrobe. Since the artist has not lived in Yekaterinburg for a long time but misses him and his people very much, she considers it appropriate to use just such a sensual massage for the city. The magic of the Russian language is that the word «Sokhnu» (Dry/Wither) can be used both as a declaration of a strong feeling of love and as a first-person message of clothes.
